ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Hannah Waaramaa and I am 25 years old. I’m from Fitchburg, Massachusetts and I am a Certified Birth Doula (since 2022). I have loved pregnancy and birth since a young age. It always fascinated me and I knew it was something I wanted to help women with when I was older. I went to college right after high school and thought that maybe nursing could be my way to help women during pregnancy and birth. I soon realized that nursing wasn’t for me and I wanted to work more 1-on-1 with clients. Fast forward to a year later and a friend told me about doulas and how they help women during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I quickly started to do more research on how to become a doula and knew it was for me! I took my classes online through Birth Arts International. From my first birth, I knew I was meant to be a doula. Along with being a birth doula, I am also a nanny to four amazing, fun kids. If you cannot tell, I love children! I named my business The Helping Han because I hope I can be a Help to you along your pregnancy and birth journey!
